The P.A.P.E. Academy is a nonprofit youth development organization based in Kenosha, Wisconsin, dedicated to empowering youth ages 10 - 17 through leadership & emotional development, life skills, mentorship, real-world experiences and more.

At The P.A.P.E. Academy, we believe every young person deserves a safe environment where they are encouraged to grow, discover their purpose, and reach their full potential.

The Mission

Our mission is to provide young people with positive mentorships, education, opportunities, and life changing experiences. Preparing them for success in school, their communities, and beyond through Purpose, Accountability, Perspective, and Elevation.

The vision is clear — build a generation of confident, responsible, and compassionate leaders who create positive change in their families, any public setting, owning any room they step in.

Meet Our Founder

Mahalia “Pape” London

Growing up in Kenosha, I wasn’t always on the right path. I was a natural leader, but I often used that influence in the wrong ways because without consistent guidance, I made choices that taught me valuable lessons about responsibility, growth, and purpose. Over time, I learned that true leadership isn’t about being the loudest person in the room—it’s about lifting others up. Today, I walk into rooms with confidence, purpose, and a commitment to creating opportunities for the next generation. Changing my life inspired me to create The P.A.P.E. Academy, where young people can find the mentorship, support, and opportunities they need to become the leaders they were meant to be.
